Back in January, the Curtis Toyota team was proud to take part in Shine’s “Little Stars” Virtual Balloon Race 2026.
Shine supports families and individuals affected by spina bifida and hydrocephalus, and the “Little Stars” race shines a spotlight on Shine’s youngest members aged 0 to 12. This year’s race launched from Kielder Observatory in Northumberland and ran from 6 January to 13 January 2026.
We entered 30 balloons under Curtis Toyota and had great fun following the leaderboard and seeing how far our balloons travelled. It’s a simple, family-friendly way to get involved, while helping raise funds and awareness for a charity that makes a real difference.
A huge thank you to Shine and everyone who took part in the race. We’re delighted to support the work Shine does and we look forward to getting involved again.
